    Purchase against the form-specific ASTM number plus UNS. Sour service adds NACE MR0175. European equivalence: DIN 17743 NiCu30Fe (Werkstoff 2.4360).

    Four service blocks dominate: hydrofluoric acid and HF alkylation piping, valve and bolting (chromium-free composition is immune to HF stress corrosion); seawater and marine structures including offshore platform fastening; sour service oil and gas under NACE MR0175 Table A.7; and naval, hydrographic and minesweeping equipment needing relative magnetic permeability below 1.05.
